Golden Globes: why there wasn't a best dressed

the movies were exciting, the winners deserved the awards, no big surprises, we were all pleased with the choices, the hosts were entertaining, funny, ironic, wit as we would want them all along.

Sienna wearing custom Erdem. a note: cropped tops we have seen the following week in Christian Dior Couture, so she was trending before the trend. she wanted to give credits to an English designer and she firmly believed in him. the Americans didn’t understand it, oh well.

the show sailed smoothly with no drama (except Jodie Foster’s speech that will end up studied and dissected in the years to come), no Hollywood diva outshining the others or standing out. it seemed all so perfect that fashion was kinda flat too, no pulse.

She chose Alexander McQueen for comfort … mmm … did she think it was cool saying that? couldn’t have been a little more appealing mentioning the exquisite neckline beadwork and the impeccable cut? we have to remember she’s in the catalog of Ann Taylor which is all about streamline comfort …

this is Christian Dior Couture perfection although she really wasn’t sure what that meant. nothing dahlin’ , you just wore the first collection designed by Raf Simmons for Dior and you don’t know it

this one knows what she’s doing, with British accent

until tonight at the SAG awards,

yours truly
